Missions
Kidney diseases can be found in children of all ages. In infants, they are usually caused by kidney and urinary tract abnormalities such as urinary tract obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux, urinary tract infection, and congenital anomalies of kidney. In older children, they are usually the results of different types of kidney infection, such as pyelonephritis caused by bacterial infection, Lupus nephritis, and IgA nephropathy. At present, chronic kidney diseases in children have become increasingly common both as a result of kidney and urinary tract abnormalities and other factors like obesity, hypertension and diabetes, etc.
