The Excellence Center for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (EC-ATMPs), under the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society. It was established according to the Document No. 2001/2560 dated 27 November 2018. The EC-ATMPs have further developed technological innovation of tissue engineering and implant materials to meet the patients’ needs. The products in our center are laboratory-grown synthetic tissue and organs, 3D printed tissues, patient-specific implants and rapid wound repair materials. The center is proudly to be part of the development of medical treatment by leverage the tissue engineering technology which eventually bring Thailand to the global competitiveness.

Vision

Manufacture Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to Thai patients

Mission

1. To reduce the health equity gap of access to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products of Thai people
2. To provide one-to-many medical products for common diseases and one-to-one medical products for complicated cases of tissue and organ repairs
3. To research and develop new treatment options and innovation of organ/tissue replacement at pre-clinical prototype level, conducted in compliance with the principle of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
4. To provide facilities, not less than pilot scale-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), for manufacturing prototypes of ATMPs
