โรคไข้เลือดออกเป็นปัญหาทางสาธารณสุขที่สำคัญของประเทศไทย ต้องอาศัยการวินิจฉัยที่ถูกต้องและรวดเร็ว เฝ้าระวังผู้ป่วยอย่างใกล้ชิดและให้การรักษาอย่างเหมาะสม โรคนี้พบบ่อยในฤดูฝน เกิดจากการติดเชื้อไวรัสเดงกีซึ่งมี 4 ชนิดและมียุงลายเป็นพาหะนำโรค ผู้ป่วยส่วนใหญ่เป็นเด็กโต วัยรุ่น และผู้ใหญ่อายุน้อย

วันที่ 5 กรกฎาคม 2562 นางสาวเฉลาศรี เสงี่ยม หัวหน้าพยาบาลโรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย เป็นประธานใน พิธีมอบใบประกาศนียบัตร และปิดการอบรม หลักสูตรฝึกอบรมอาจารย์พยาบาลคลินิกประจำหอผู้ป่วย ( Intensive Training Course for Clinical Nurse Education )
