King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital has established Geriatric Excellence Center with a mission to prepare Thai society for global aging change by promoting healthy lifestyle among older people, slowing down their degeneration, and reducing their dependency in order to enable them to live a productive life and have a better quality of life.

- สร้างต้นแบบและองค์ความรู้ใหม่ในการดูแลผู้สูงวัยเพื่อพัฒนาเป็นแนวทางดําเนินการระดับชาติอย่างบูรณาการ ตั้งแต่การเสริมสร้างสุขภาพ การป้องกัน การรักษาโรค ตลอดจนถึงการรักษาแบบประคับประคอง
- สนับสนุนการฝึกอบรมบุคลากรผู้ดูแลผู้สูงวัย ทั้งภายในองค์กรและภายนอกองค์กร
Support Activities
- ให้บริการประเมินภาวะสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไปทั้งทางร่างกายและจิตใจ
- ให้บริการส่งเสริมสุขภาพผู้สูงวัยให้สามารถดูแลสุขภาพตนเองได้ ลดภาวะพึ่งพิง
- ศึกษาวิจัย สร้างนวัตกรรม เพื่อเป็นต้นแบบสังคมผู้สูงวัยสุขภาพดี

Service
Geriatric Excellence Center provides both disease prevention and treatment for commonly found symptoms in older patients such as falls, sleep problems, vision and hearing problems, degeneration of the internal organ system, and mental care by a multidisciplinary team of specialized professionals.
Comprehensive Geriatric Clinic has been established in order to promote holistic health care and to screen health problems. The clinic also facilitates a self-care plan for each individual and educates them on how to take care of themselves. Women Health Clinic is also in service for comprehensive health care of menopausal women.
We produce information resources in aging and elderly care for our community in the form of leaflets, online media, handbooks and textbooks. Our medical textbooks are initiated to be the reference book of Thailand, while the academic conference about the elderly and community collaboration are held to acknowledge proper elderly care and create an aging-friendly attitude in Thai society.
We also provide other supplementary activities such as
- Research and Quality improvement project
- Educative session for the older people by multidisciplinary team
- Demonstration site for both internal and external organization
- Health promotion activities for the older people such as Ang-kalung music activity, brain stimulation games, and bamboo dance exercise
